Want to Upgrade to Windows Server 2016 MCSA? Take 743 Beta Today!

Liberty Munson (Microsoft)

Have you already earned an MCSA: Windows Server 2008 or MCSA: Windows Server 2012 R2 certification? If so, you can upgrade to the MCSA: Windows Server 2016 by taking this beta exam! This exam covers key aspects of installation, storage, compute, networking, and identity functionality available in Windows Server 2016.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not have either of these MCSAs, do not take this beta exam as you will not earn the 2016 version of the credential even if you pass the beta. Having either the 2008 or 2012 R2 MCSA is REQUIRED in order for this exam to meet the 2016 MCSA requirements.

We are opening up 350 beta seats for this beta exam (exam number: 70-743)... This means you can take the exam for free!! BUT... the seats are limited to first come, first served basis. Registration is now open. Note that you must register by August 19, 2016 and take the exam by August 26. The sooner you take the exam, the more likely it is that we will be able to use your feedback to make improvements to the exam. This is your chance to have a voice in the questions we include on the exam when it goes live.

To prepare for the exam, review our prep guide and practice the skills listed: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/exam-70-743.aspx To prepare for this beta exam, check out my recent blog for ideas: https://borntolearn.mslearn.net/b/weblog/posts/just-how-does-one-prepare-for-beta-exams-without-preparation-materials.

***Register for the exam at the same site and use code MCP743KRISTI to take it for free, but these codes are only valid for exam dates on or before August 26. Remember: There are a limited amount of spots, so when they're gone, they're gone. You should also be aware that there are some country limitations where the beta code will not work (e.g., Turkey, Pakistan, India, China, Vietnam); you will not be able to take the beta exam for free in those countries.

Also, keep in mind that this exam is in beta, which means that you will not be scored immediately. You will receive your final score and passing status once the exam is live.

Note that although the focus is primarily on local scenarios, enterprise scenarios are also included, where applicable. Some cloud-integrated services are covered where appropriate, such as with Microsoft Passport.

Well...what are you waiting for? Register before all the seats are gone!

    Discount validation failed.

Discount: Discount - MCP-743-KRISTI•This discount is no longer available because it has a use limit, and the use limit has been met.

•This discount cannot be used with other discounts. The order already contains a discount.

Curses! So which is it? Did the exam run out of vouchers, or is it that it won't combine with my MCT discount?

I'd really like to try this beta, thanks!

This sucks. I got an SME code last week, have been trying for days to register as the site kept saying it was offline. And now the code is all used up because some selfish people posted the codes online! Not impressed.
