Training related to the Windows UX Design exam is available in two forms:

Certification Updates for SQL Server 2014
In reviewing the SQL Server 2014 product, the Microsoft Learning Experiences team determined that the new features focus on performance tuning and high availability. As skilling and testing around these features is best suited for the MCSE level, the following updates are planned:
To help prepare for the MCSA: SQL Server 2012 exams, recordings are now available for several recent Jump Start courses for database administrators and developers:
As a reminder for those individuals who already hold any MCTS or MCSA certification on SQL Server 2008, there is a streamlined two-exam upgrade path to MCSA: SQL Server 2012:
From now through May 31, 2014, there is a special promotion of 25% off the cost of these exams, plus free retakes if needed.
Cool! Can't wait for the 2014 exams to come out, I would also like to help develop future exams...
Whilst I wait I am doing the 2008 exams before they are retired, is there a retirement date for the bi exam 70-448?
70-448 will remain in market until at least Jul 31, 2014.
Good luck on your exams!
What about 70-433 exam?
70-432, 70-433, and 70-448 will all remain in market until at least Jul 31, 2014.
How does this affect the upgrade path for the MCSE? I have my MCITPs for SQL Server 2008 in Administration and Development and I'm working on my MCSA/MCSE in 2012. I'll probably be finishing the MCSA early next year but I doubt I'll get to the MCSE exam before the change. Will I still be able to upgrade directly to the 2014 version or will I have to take the regular path?
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that you are referring to the current MCITP->MCSE upgrade exams 70-459 (Data Platform) and 70-460 (BI).
These two exams will remain available until Jul 31, 2014, and there are no current plans to update them to include SQL Server 2014 content. If you pursue this path, you will be tested on capabilities of SQL 2014 and future releases when you recertify in 3 years.
In the meantime, to help you keep your skills up-to-date, we will be adding several SQL 2014 online training classes to our Microsoft Virtual Academy site in the first half of 2014.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Any news on the 2014 SQL Server certs?
What about the replacement for SQL MCM as well?
Sorry for the delayed response. Updates to the MCSE exams are in progress, with release dates now updated to the end of April. I will be posting side-by-side comparisons of the current and revised exam objectives within the next few weeks.
We are currently evaluating options for an advanced certification program and will provide more details as soon as they are available.
Thanks for that, please let us know if I can help with the advanced certification program.
I am working on my BI exams now and encountered 2 more isses, please advise.
1. I passed 70-448 (BI MCTS 2008) but I cannnot book 70-452 (BI MCITP 2008) as it is not listed on the prometric site!
2. My Certification Planner does not list MCSA SQL Server 2008 (achieved) or MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 (In Progress).
I regret to inform you that both Exam 70-452 and the MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 certification were retired on July 31, 2013. For BI certification, I encourage you to consider our MCSE: Business Intelligence certification.
Regarding your MCSA: SQL Server 2008 certification not being listed after passing both 70-432 and 70-448, I suggest that you contact your Regional Service Center for resolution.
Do you have some new information, when there will be an upgrade for exam 70-467 with SQL Server 2014 topics?
The MCSE SQL exam (464-467) updates for SQL Server 2014 are now scheduled for release on 24-April. I will be posting a new blog entry with the details next week.
