When will the self study books be available?
Given the failure of the MCITP and MCTS qualifications can these also be rebranded back into the MCSE fold please. This would then allow me to simplify my qualification list and match it with the expectations of HR and Agencies.
Hi @David -- MCITP and MCTS are titles you have worked hard to earn. We are providing upgrade paths for you to work toward MCSE in new technologies as they become available. For example, this page outlines steps to upgrade from MCITP to MCSE: Server Infrastructure www.microsoft.com/.../mcse-server-infrastructure.aspx You may also like to know we have a great 2-for-1 exam voucher offer going on now: http://aka.ms/Prometric241
I know I worked hard to attain them, but Microsoft did not keep their end of the bargain by prompting the change from MCSE to MCITP to Agencies and HR departments. Given I cannot falsely describe myself on a CV it would be nice of Microsoft to add the "Also known as MCSE 2008" to various MCITP qualifications. (Also the MCSA to the MCTSs).
Given I have alread achieved the MCITP qualifications the 2-for-1 exam vouchers are a waste of time, as they cannot be retroactively applied to exams I have already taken.
Hi @David -- If you want to upgrade your certification to one that covers new/current technologies, you may wish to pursue one the new MCSE titles. More info here: http://aka.ms/MCSE
excuse my question. But is there just one exam necessary for upgrading MCITP EA? (70-417)?
regards from germany.
Are the beta exas going to be publicly available or are they only being offered to TechEd attendees?
OK , You got me now , I was hanging around all your sites and got lost a thousand times , but always had fun .
I wil sent a couple of Emails to other partners here in belgium to advise me on which training and where. But I think the Desktop or server way seems to be a good start, Please advice me on this ? I also hope that 659 could be do-able, but I also want to go the SMB and Buisness Int. way . well I do not know how thechnical the exams are but with all i read Installing 6 or so seats on a 365 off. and then knowing your way around the different tools and panels and all the rules should give you a good preparation , not? I am compeletely new at this but it is all the differnt ways of configuring and implenting them that seems to be hard . ok , Thank you all for your help and good company, I will meet you all at the JUMP start in june , but will try to keep you informed aswell . Good luck and cheers,
by , Belgian Vic
SO I took some SQL server exams in April and now the new certification is out , any idea when I'll be sent voucher to attend new exams ?
this applies to 2-for-1 vouchers
Server Infrastructure and Private seems a good choice. I got the same question, how will we be notified for the 2 for 1 voucher.
hope the new MCSE doesnt expire by mid 2013.
Veronica, Could you please help guide us to a training book/soft copy for the Server Infrastructure or Private Cloud if any . thanks
is this still "busy"?
questions about the MCSE private cloud: www.microsoft.com/.../cert-private-cloud.aspx
in the text the MCSA: WIndows Server 2008 is named 3 time as a requiset, but in the pic only MCSA: Windows Server 2012 is shown.
So is the MCSA Server 2008 (aka MCITP: Server Administrator) is ok for MCSE private cloud?
just recognized, my live ID is working here :)
so the last question is mine, Peter
