I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer, delivering courses almost exclusively now in SQL Server and related technologies.

They’re fun, diverse, passionate, eager to share, encouraging, sympathetic, what’s not to love?
What is your favorite food?
Steak, so rare it flinches when I stick my fork in. Swimming in garlic butter. With proper chips, not anorexic french fries, but chips you could hollow out and use as a canoe.
What is your secret obsession?
The magistrate said I must never even talk about my secret obsession, or next time it will be a prison sentence. I quite openly admit to being obsessive about writing and language though, and write almost every day. And it should be ‘e,g,’ and not ‘i.e.’

What do you want to be when you grow up?
An author. Or an actor. Or wardrobe manager for an exotic dance establishment. Or astronaut. That’s if the pirate thing doesn’t work out.
