Action: Register with Prometric and take your exam by June 10, 2010 or email erwinc@microsoft.com if you took it at TechEd.

Challenge: Participate in Born to Learn Discussion Forums

Criteria: In the IT Grand Prix forum, your ground team will moderate discussion threads. Participate in those discussions and the team with the most relevant posts wins the challenge.

Action: Visit the ITGP forum, find your team's threads ( your team color will be in the title), and participate in the discussion.

Challenge: Did you know you can track the number of times your VBC is viewed? Create and promote your Virtual Business Card to win this challenge.

Criteria: The team with the most cumulative views of their pit crew's Virtual Business Cards wins.

Action: Create your VBC and share it. Make sure you have the VBC linked from our servers (image versions do not count)!

Challenge: Take the Are You Certifiable Challenge

Ground Team Challenges
NPower, a non-profit organization that matches technical volunteers with local non-profits requiring technical support, will match each team with a local non-profit in need of assistance on a specific project. Teams will not be aware of their objectives for the day until their morning meeting with David Elfassy, the IT Grand Prix host.

Videos and blogs will be posted continually so you can follow the action. We’ll summarize the daily activities to keep you up-to-date.

Washington, DC
The teams will face a “capitol” challenge in working with Washington DC non-profits. In this town, where laws are created, we’ll see what rules they’ll have to follow to complete their very first NPower engagement.
New York, NY
Welcome to the Big Apple – if the teams can make it here, they can make it anywhere (or at least through to the next city). In a metropolis with a thousand non-profits, where will the teams end up?
Houston, TX
Houston, will we have a problem? Before they can blast their way to the finish line, teams will need to get direction from mission control to find out their challenge of the day.
New Orleans, LA
From jazz to food to history to TechEd, New Orleans has it all, including the final challenge. Which team will discover that New Orleans really is “the big easy?”
