Hi,
Does anyone know when the training materials for CRM 2011 are likely to be released.
I am really keen to get across these ASAP.
Regards
Rob

What's about Partner Ressources CRM 2011 VPC. Is there an image planed that we can use to introduce CRM 2011?
Yes, the VM is planned for 2nd quarter 2011
Not seen too much course material yet, but there are a couple of free practice exams that might help your training..
www.accelerated-ideas.com/free-mb2-866-practice-exam.aspx (Customization and Configuration)
www.accelerated-ideas.com/free-mb2-867-practice-exam.aspx (Installation and Deployment)
Good luck..
The official MOC courses are available for all the apps, customization and install stuff, extending is due later in the summer. (these are available to CPLS to offer public training courses, and to partners via PartnerSource, but of course you don't get the VMs that way to do the labs etc, although the partner demo VM is now available, with some accelerators etc built in)
The exams for these three areas are also available now.

I'm sure this has been raised before, but whats happened to the rigorous element in (hopefully only some) MCP exams?
I've been semi-retired for almost five years. Prior to that I've more than a decade's experience of taking and passing various MCP exams to achieve the status of MCSD.Net, MCDBA, MCITP, etc. All of these tracks were hard work - requiring me to review all the relevant MOC material, if it existed, and hit the books in a major way.
I took MB2-866 Customisation and Configuration yesterday after doing little more than reading the MOC material carefully (not just 80294, but also 80290/1/2/3 as I'm taking the Apps exam soon). I'm preparing to teach the Apps and Customisation courses once I get accredited so I did hit the MOC material hard but ...
... I couldn't believe how many questions mapped closely to the Test Your Knowledge sections of the MOC material or were drawn from the module body. I'm sure, as a rule of thumb, no more than 40% of past exam questions in my various tracks (VB3 -> VB.Net, C#, SqlServer Implementation/Maintenance, etc) derived from the MOC material. It just seems wrong to have such a direct mapping between course material and the exam.
Don't misunderstand me - I'm glad I passed; but passing with such a high mark (940+) serves to prove to me that the exam is just not rigorous enough. Maybe the Apps course MB2-868 is harder, and certainly that's the impression I'm starting to get from colleagues and blog posts, but it's just embarrassing to pass an exam with almost the maximum mark. I now wish I hadn't retired from normal, everyday society for the last three weeks (a big apology's being prepared for my partner) and maybe scraped a "gentleman's" mark in the range 800-900.
Let's see how the Apps exam goes ...
Thanks for listening,
