I am planning on getting my MCT certification and want to specialize in Office 2010. Right now I have the Office 2007 certifications, and I know the official courses are given on 2007 versions at learning solution providers.
My question is: When is Microsoft going to be releasing the course material for Office 2010? I assume this is what needs to happen in order for the training centers to begin offering the classes, which are the ones I am looking to teach.
Thank you,
Robert
Microsoft don't really do "official" courseware for MOS in the same way as they do for "technical" IT pro or developer subjects (through MOC). (I think they do have something for academies with MOAC, but I'm not sure).
Training centres generally produce their own or buy it in, but most authors seem to have been holding back until the exam objectives were published so they could check their training ticks all the right boxes, or in some cases even show the student which bits of their courses map to which objectives specifically.
The objectives are now out (as of a couple of days ago), I've provided links to them in this article:

Thanks Adam for the great response. Indeed, Microsoft doesn't create MOS courseware today. My hope is we can change that in the future.
We do have a MOS 2010 Study Guide available via O'Reilly as an eBook. Here’s a link to it specifically (search.oreilly.com). It is directly mapped to the core exams and gives step by step instruction, as well as a set of practice tools on CD.
Finally, we have a vendor approved courseware program for third party vendors that create MOS mapped courses: www.procertlabs.com/ms_find_courseware.cfm. It's not the easiest tool to navigate to courseware, but may help.
Keep up the great questions and I'll keep answering them as well as I can.
Thanks!
