I have used Office products for years, and I have decided to get a formal certification in Office 2010, with the idea of moving to becoming a MCT. When the MOS exams were released in June 2010, I was busy of course, and just now got around to actually studying for the Word 77-881 exam. I am confident I can pass the 77-881 exam, but the problem is I can not find a Certiport testing center that is actually offering the test. I live in West Palm Beach, and I was surprised to find this out. This is a major city! It has been more trouble to find a testing center than to actually learn the material! Certiport told me there is only ONE Florida testing center, in Tampa, that is offering the Office 2010 exams.
I saw another post from NJ asking about exam locations, and saw she was able to get some leads on where she test from this forum, so I thought I would post this question. Where can I take the 77-881 exam in West Palm Beach?

After I saw your response, I called Live IT academy to schedule a testing time. I was told they only offer the Office 2007 tests.
By the way, I have spoken to every Certiport testing center withen 200 miles of West Palm Beach, Florida. This includes Miami, and Ft Lauderdale. I posted here as a last resort, thinking I was missing something because it seemed imposiable that Office 2010 certification exams were not being offfered in a major population area, South Florida.
I have taken a 2007 Office exam, but I wanted to get a MCT with competencies in Office 2010 and, as you know, to do that I need to take the Office 2010 exams.
Unless you have another suggestion, looks like I will be makeing the 41/2 hour drive to Tampa one morning, which is the location of the only certiport testing center in Florida that is offering the 2010 version!

Hmmm, I was assured they could handle 2010. I'll circle back with Certiport on this. My apologies for the hassle. MOS 2010 isn't as widespread yet as we'd prefer, but test centers are starting to pick it up. Perhaps it doesn't help that only 2 of the MOS 2010 exams are live at this point. Once there are more, I expect we'll start to see more test centers come online.

Thank you for your help Wendy. When I called Live IT Academy they just said they are not set up for 2010 yet, They said a new test machine had to be set up and had no plans to do that at this point.
I agree with you that as more tests go live more testing centers will be offering it. This is part of the reason I am getting my MCT with all the Office 2010 Office certifications, figuring that Office 2010 training will be getting more in demand.
