We have had a last minute change of direction with this exam. For details I can't share here, we have had to shift this exam to become a Technical Specialist exam, and halted development of it for MOS 2010. I'm really disappointed in this change in direction, and we are working now to determine how to introduce a new Project MOS 2010 exam. It is likely this new Project exam will not launch for another year or so.

My apologies for the unfortunate news - perhaps when the TS exam is ready you might try it out and tell us what you think of it.

So let me get this straight...Exam 77-178 is not due to appear for another year? Like september 2011?

Please, what is the expected release date. Additionally, where can we find the latest syllabus for this exam...?

At this point, we are no longer considering a MOS Project exam. However, the TS version we shifted this exam to is now live and you can read the exam objectives overview here: www.microsoft.com/.../Exam.aspx.

Hi Jose, my apologies! I thought I was linking the new exam for this that will be numbered 70-178 and missed it by one number.

It appears 70-178 is not live yet. I will ask our development team on the status of its release. It should be soon!

have found this link to 70-178 - seems it will not be live until mid Feb 2011:

This exam (70-178) only went thru the beta process last month, so Feb 2011 would be about right.
