So, let me begin by saying I do not have any certifications. I am looking to get my MCITP: DBA. I like the description, it would fit my personality and I am set on it as the one I am interested in. My questions is, do I need to have any other certifications to earn the MCITP: DBA? Also, where do I start, what materials should I begin with, what tests should I prepare for?
I am supremely excited about this as a career path and want to get started ASAP, does anyone have some advice for me? I am somewhat technology literate so I am not a novice, but I am a begginner in the professional field. Thank you all in advance for your help and guidance.

You might be interested in the latest MTA certification as a beginning that might help you decide if you want to go down the path of Admin, Developer or BI .....
