If you have achieved MCSE, I would suggest upgrading to MCITP Enterprise Administrator. This will give you a respected certification on Windows Server 2008. It may also be worth your while to get a desktop certification to round out your resume. There is an MCITP for Windows Vista and Windows 7, or MCDST covers Windows XP.
I would go the route of staying in touch with those you trustand providing good insight for each other. Then, I assumeyou would want to find a job, but they want you to show themwhat you can offer them with your new qualifications, not justrelying on your old achievements and such.
Also, let them know this through the use of the logos on your Resume'as this is actually what they suggest you do. You don't need to be overlyfancy or anything to get the message across.
I doesn't hurt to express all of your strengths and make them apparent to the people you are aboutto work with in any IT position. They want you to be fully certifiable, Right? Well, then prove to themin some way that you can do this ten fold.
Good Luck!
well the xams were not too tough. All you need is to have deep knowledge. If you are good at practicals you will definetely crack it. I would like to help those who want to do m.c.s.e. I cracked mcse in 6 months of work. And am preparing for mct. If anyone wants to knw about mcse i will be pleased to help in anyway i can. Thank you
Hi Apurwa,
Keep in mind that the MCT cert is primarily for trainers, not necessarily those who just want to work in IT. In fact it is quite difficult to maintain if you are not at least a part time trainer. You should also bear in mind that you can become an MCT without having to pass any additional exams. Take a look at the requirements here - www.microsoft.com/mct.
I concur with the others - Push on to get you MCITP Enterprise Admin or Server Admin - I think you can get there with just four or two more exams respectively. You can find out more about these certs here - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-windowsserver.aspx#tab4
