DETAILS ABOUT MTA .NET Fundamentals

  • Hello Everyone,

    I have just joined BorntoLearn!!

Can you tell me what is the content of MTA .NET certification exam.Firstly, I like to know about the no. of questions I would get in this exam.

Secondly,I would like to know that who can provide me with the Instructor Manual.I would also like to know some free exam codes if anyone can provide, it

would be a great help, which is generally provided in the book of MTA .NET FUNDAMENTALS BOOK.Finally, I would like all kinds of suggestions for preparing and for scoring high in this exam.

    Thanks,

  • I'm not sure if you can get an instructor's manual as these tend to be only for instructors and there may be some restrictions on them.  Regardless, you won't get anything different than if you take the course yourself as the book provided will likely be the same.  (I haven't compared the manuals, so I'm not sure if there are any differences.)

As for preparing for the exam, use the resources provided here:

    www.microsoft.com/.../exam-98-372.aspx

In the Skills Measured section, if you expand the areas, there are links providing resource material for that particular topic.  Additionally, look at standard C#/VB books that cover the .NET basics.

As for scoring high, that's all relative.  The score is not relevant; passing is.

    Hope this helps!

  • hi Chris,

Thank you so much for the information, but can you tell me exactly which C#.NET books I should refer.I have many books actually.

I would also like to know can you tell me exactly how many questions I will get in this exam.

    Thanks,

  • If you want to seriously learn the inner workings of .NET then I would not hesitate to recommend you

CLR via C# by Jeffrey Richter. The information given in that book is pretty overwhelming but you would be very much glad in the end
