Hi; been studying to prepare for the SQL Server Developer Exam (433, 461) for the last year. Have failed the exam twice. Need a new study plan. My background is that I am new to IT and am trying to break into the field. I have taken online prep classes, studied with a tutor and read the Microsoft training manuel 70-433 three times. How long should it reasonably take for somebody to study and pass this exam? I would appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you.
Hi chrisbclark, There is no better way to learn than to do. Download a copy of SQL Server, and go through the course objectives one by one, working through all the examples you can find. This is how I managed to get passes in the exams I have taken.
I am looking to take the 3 course package with Prometric, with a 15% discount. I see on the "Cert Challenge" page it has been extended to June 2014, but upon visiting the Prometric page the links to the offer are not working. Can somebody look into this ASAP as I want to start my certification?
