The purpose of this paper is to answer the questions posed by this student’s instructor, including the subjects of career and educational goals, courses this student feels strong and weak in, boosting knowledge in critical courses before they are taken, and how adult learning theories can be beneficial. The intent of this paper is to show the declining opportunities in the radio industry, the importance of an associate’s degree, considerations of this student’s academic plan, challenges for future courses, how helpful current as well as future resources will be, and how adult learning theories apply to both the individual and those around them.
