MCSD Recertification Exams Now Available

The first wave of recertification exams, corresponding to all five MCSD specialties, is now available.  Details can be found on the web pages referenced below.  Please note that recertification exams cover material from the exams taken to originally earn the credential, with particular emphasis on the most recent product and process changes.

Recertification exams for five SQL Server and Windows Server-related specialties will be released by October 2014.  Lync, Exchange, and SharePoint recertification exams will be released in April 2015.

70-490: Recertification for MCSD: Windows Store Apps using HTML5

70-491: Recertification for MCSD: Windows Store Apps using C#

70-494: Recertification for MCSD: Web Applications

70-499: Recertification for MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management

70-517: Recertification for MCSD: SharePoint Applications

    If I start now for example MCSD ALM. Will I need do de recertification exam or the actual exams are update.

    Carlos, you first take all of the exams required for the certification.  As time goes by, these exams will be updated based on the current technology.  Once the certification is achieved, then you will need to take the recertification exam before your certification expires in two years after the completion of the final exam in the certification sequence.

    I tried visiting the given links today and found all of them broken. Could you please verify and update at your earliest convenience.

    Just checked all 5 links and they are working on my end.  Please retry (perhaps, with a different browser) and let me know if you are still having problems.

    Thank for your response and verifying the links.

    Your advice to check on different browser worked! Something is wrong with chrome, whereas, on IE it is working fine.

    Seems like a weird issue with bit.ly's URL redirection on Chrome.
