The updated Virtual Business Card site has now launched. A few of the changes you can expect to see are updated colors, features, and functions. In preparation of Wallet Cards launching in July, you now have the ability to create and select the virtual business card that you would like to connect to the Microsoft Tag that will be located on your wallet card. Not interested in purchasing a wallet card? You will still have the opportunity to create a VBC that mirrors the wallet card look and feel as well as use the VCF download feature, etc. As always, we would love your feedback and thoughts.
Random thought (possibly a bad one): Will we be able to *Easily* display our VBCs on our WP7 devices. And if so... will there be some kind of "bump" app so that we can trade info with another MCP?
'My Qualifications' page (and Profile page) shows now obsolete MCAS logo for MOS Master certifications.
The text for appropriate MOS Master certification should also be updated.
This is an 'old' issue, that was present even with 'old' Virtual Business Cards.
Other than that, VBC site is serving its purpose.
Btw, I like MCTs 'aggressive' red...
It's still broken. My email address is 29~ characters long, the MCP VBC website swaps out some characters for "..." but actually makes my email address longer in the process =\ It swaps "l" for "...". So annoying!
I had a break in my Trainer certification. my transcript shows that ok but the profile only goes back to after I re-enabled it.
Getting a lot better, but it "shortens" my URL by replacing the "l" in consulting to a "..." thereby lengthening it. This feature is worthless and should be removed. (What if I need to use the .jpg version of the card?)

Hey amber. Can you give us an idea regarding the price of the wallet cards. And also that will i be able to order certificates along with walletcards as one package.
The Virtual Business Card site is not working correcting. It is only pulling my name from my Learning Profile and will not populate the other fields.
Same time - something broken on forwarding from www.mcpvirtualbusinesscard.com to Transcript sharing. The link is www.mcpvirtualbusinesscard.com/.../TranscriptSiteAccess.aspx, the error - No match found for Transcript Access User Id/ Transcript Access Code entered OR an error occurred.
I have some suggestions:
1. Use *.microsoft.com domain instead this so long and external to MS domain
2. On datails page: make certification logos the same in font size (MCTS much smaller than others)
3. Provide option to check which tel number (h / w /f / m) to show on BC
4. Don't know how in USA, but in Europe standard aspect ratio for BC is 9:5
5. What about option to show custom text on VBC, such as Skype alias.
Your new "Wallet Card" themes are much better then others, now i don't shy to show this VBC to my peers.
It would be nice if we can customise first name or at least put in a preferred name. Full name is sometimes tooooo long for many people but preferred on formal things e.g. certificates.
Would be nice if it works, can get by the acceptance of terms & conditions page, an unexpected erropr occurs.

@ Fahad - Wallet Cards will cost a flat rate of $8.95 - which includes shipping and handling. (WW) In the beginning, you will not be able to order your wallet card and certificate together. We had to make a tough decision to either launch the old card back in market (no hologram, picture option, Microsoft Tag, localization, etc) for a charge - or to launch a completely updated experience that will allow MCPs to order a card in their local language (must be one of the current Microsoft Translator tool languages) as well as tie it to their VBC for future promotional opportunities......and we went with option two. The long-term goal is of course to consolidate the business as much as possible.
@ John, Jerome, Keith, Boris - I have sent your comments to the vendor to look into and address ASAP.
@ Argon - thank you for your suggestions. I will review with the vendor and see what is feasible given their platform. On a different note, we will launch several different VBC design formats each month - so you'll have more options in the near future. I should also mention that when ordering a Wallet Card, the green will be for technical, the red for MCT, and the Orange for Office.

The problem in this fact: after passing beta for MCTS 70-162 (Forefront) it displays as "MCTS: Windows® Embedded Compact 7 Charter Member" in certificate download section.
