Microsoft SharePoint Resources: Part III

While scouting training and certification resources for SharePoint Server 2010, I stumbled across the SharePoint Connection Coast to Coast Tour + Microsoft SharePoint Bootcamp, being held in Las Vegas, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, San Antonio and Chicago, starting April 18, 2011. It’s a great opportunity to get guidance and best practices for deploying, configuring, managing, and developing SharePoint 2010.

If you’re ready to validate your SharePoint skills, consider earning a Microsoft Certification. Two Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and two Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certifications are available along with Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) for SharePoint Server 2010.

Along with formal training, to prepare to take these exams, you might want to consider viewing a free exam coaching sessions or purchase a MeasureUp practice test. These tests can help you identify gaps in your knowledge and provide direction – based on your timeframe and budget – as to whether you should get additional training.
