FAST University’s Learning without Walls program offers our customers, partners and internal employees three methods to attend our high quality training classes over the internet, in the comfort of their own offices or homes. Those methods are:

  • Live-Virtual Courses
  • Recorded Courses with Hosted Virtual Servers
  • Virtual Labs

Live-Virtual Courses offer the same great FAST University instructors, course materials and hands-on exercises as our traditional Instructor-led offerings. In our Live-Virtual courses, students connect to class over the internet using Microsoft’s Live Meeting. A live instructor is also connected to the session to deliver the PowerPoint presentation, conduct demonstrations, answer student questions and assist with the hands-on exercises, the same experience as if the student were physically present in the classroom. All of the FAST University Instructor-led courses are available as Live Virtual Courses.

Recorded Courses are a virtual classroom playback and are ideal for students who require maximum flexibility in their learning environment. Virtual labs are included with email support from FAST University instructors. Most of the FAST University Instructor-led courses are available as Recorded Courses and more are on the way.

Virtual Labs provide students with the time to practice installing, configuring and customizing FAST solutions. Using ReadyTech, a remote server is available for students to practice, learn and test new ideas. Email support from FAST University instructors is included with the labs. This option is recommended for students who have recently completed a FAST University course and want extra time to practice what they learned.
