Register for this week's Career Factor Live Session

Please join the Career Factor participants and the Microsoft Certified Career Conference team for “Career Essentials: Writing a Résumé with Word 2010,” presented by Heather Ackmann of Train Signal. This session was very popular at the most recent Career Conference, and we're excited to bring it back.

As we announced last week, the session will be presented on Wednesday, April 13 at 2pm (check your local time). It will be recorded for anyone who cannot attend live.

How to register for this free live session:

1. (a) If you have attended a Microsoft Certified Career Conference event, then you already have a username and password for the event website. Skip to step 3.
   (b) If you have not attended a Microsoft Certified Career Conference, then you will need to create a username and password.* Go to www.msregistration.com/msl and create a profile. You'll be able to use this profile to access future live events and recorded sessions, so it's worth taking the time to make one!
    *We recommend that you create your profile at least a few hours before the event just in case there are technical difficulties at the last minute.
2. Follow the steps on the screen to register for "Microsoft Certified Career Conference OnDemand."  (Don't worry about the shopping cart--this event is free!) Once you've created your username and password, complete the registration process, verify that you've read the Cancellation Policy, and check out.
3. Use your username and password to sign in to www.mscareerconference.com and go to your Agenda (on the left side of the homepage). From this page you can add the event to your Outlook calendar so you get a reminder! The session will be presented via the Live Meeting client--please install it ahead of time if you don't have it on your computer.
4. The link to join the session will be posted to www.mscareerconference.com 10 minutes before the session begins. If you return at this time and don't see the link, refresh the page or check the Agenda page.

The recordings library includes a wide variety of pre-recorded sessions covering technology deep-dives, work/life management, and career advice, and stay tuned for announcements about upcoming live events. You'll be able to access all of these with your username and password.
