Calling All Phone Developers: Free Training on Windows Phone 7

Today the Windows Phone team announced the availability of the Windows Phone Developer Tools Beta. We here at Born To Learn wanted to highlight the best part of this announcement (well, in our opinion):

Get Trained for FREE – Windows Phone 7 Jump Start

  • Great! but will the course soon be available for offline viewing/download?  Some sessions are @ 1:00AM for Sydney, Oz.

  • Hi Rodel,

Not initially, but we will work to get you offline viewing/download soon after the event.

  • I hope you guys release these for those of us that have to work our day jobs during the training sessions.

  • Hi Paul,

Understandable. We'll get you the training in a nice, consumable format sometime after the live event. Stay tuned.

  • Wow. It's already full. We need more training like this from Microsoft

  • Hi Rubel. We'll work on getting you more. :-)

  • Hi,

As a teacher (from Belgium) I found the Session 1 and 2 very interesting and practical (despite the late starthour of session 2), because I learned some new stuff about Silverlight and XNA and a little C#. I will make a reference to the site and blog on the ELO of my school.

    I look forward to the sessions 3 & 4.

(Sorry for the bad English, but I'm Dutch speaking)

  • very nice post about free calling i really enjoyed it thanks.

  • Thanks, Danny! Your English is great, and I'm glad to see you enjoyed sessions 1 and 2.

  •   This week, MS learning did the first delivery of our Windows Phone 7 Jumpstart training.

  • Just a few weeks ago, Microsoft hosted Windows Phone 7 Jump Start , a free training event on how to develop

  • Seriously, you couldn't have done this much worse. I have only watched the first 5 videos now (on channel9)... and you have failed almost everything you possibly could at the moment. Didn't you review the videos before you published them? Unfortunately this topic is very interesting, so ill keep scanning and hoping for something good.
