One of our MCTs fell ill last year, it was very serious for a while and naturally I was relieved to hear he was recovering. In fact, he was starting to plan to update his Microsoft Certifications again. However, with an immune system still badly compromised by all the medicine he had taken, going outdoors is still very risky for him.

The test center deserves a medal: they scheduled the exam at a time outside their scheduled days, thereby limiting the chance of the MCT running into other people (i.e. safe from infections). He wore an oxygen mask and they kept an eye on him using the camera that many test centers have in place to avoid cheating. The story ends on a funny but happy note: focusing for two hours was pretty exhausting and he actually fell asleep at the end of the exam. The test center assistant noticed this (again through the camera) and politely woke him so he could finish the exam within the given time. Of course we will all tease the MCT about falling asleep while taking an exam for quite a while, but hats off to the test center who delivered this fantastic service! This story has certainly made my day!
