Questions to BTL readers

Hi everyone!  Doing ok today? Good!

Got a couple of questions for you all on how this blog is laid out.

1) Do you ever click on the tabs on this page (Microsoft Press, MCT, Train & Cert, Events)?  Are they useful?

2) If we added discussion forums to BTL, are there any forums you would like us to see created?  How should we organize it (by technology, by credential, etc.)?

  • I rarely use the tabs, but when I do it is normally just the "Train & Cert" tab, but I'm just a regular Joe and not an MCT. If you had forums I would personally like to see it laid out by technologies with associated cert, training, and test material inside each one.
  • 1. I do follow the links sometimes, mostly MCT & Events. Usefull 2 me...
    2. I would like to see a forum on content: eg. MOC XXXX. If I had to organise it, would do it by technology, you just might not be certified but interested!
  • 1) I occasionaly use the tabs, usualy when browsing for a old post
    2) I use The Training and Certification Forum (http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/CertGe...) for my forum needs,
Ken used to hang there and answer questions, but I haven't seen him lately

    Rob.

  • I come in via RSS so pick up the stories as I go along.

If you are going to do forums, best to incorporate the existing MSDN forum rather than splitting it and having the same information spread across multiple forum systems .
  • I also use the Tabs mostly for finding old posts. The forums would be great and I agree that breakdown by technology would seem to be best approach.
  • Microsoft Press very useful tab! But unfortunately they are very slow tranlating to russian language =(
