Aaron put his little statement in his About Me section of the profile, but I ve copied it here:  

I am a SQL Server Administrator with a Systems Administrator background. I have been consulting for a number of years now working with complex products such as SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, all versions of Windows from NT4 through Windows 7 as well as Microsoft Exchange. I find that certifications are keys to showing what knowledge and experience one has obtained.
