A question regarding our Office Step by Step books

Good morning. If you read our Microsoft Office Step by Step books, such as Microsoft Office Word 2007 Step by Step, Microsoft Office Project 2007 Step by Step, and many others, please let us know if you use the books’ “Quick Reference” sections. We’re working on our Office 2010 titles, we have a lot to cover (as always), and we want to make sure we include the book elements that are most helpful to you.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

  • As can be expected, MCAS certification will also become available for Office 2010. As far as I know, the 'set' of applications will change to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and OneNote. Although I don't have information about planning or specific requirements (perhaps you are able to get this information?), it would be nice to cover this in the new material. The way this was done in the XP-versions of the Step by Step books was very usable by the way. Alongside the text, in the left / right margins special symbols were applied which were very usefull when preparing for the exams. Unfortunately in the 2003 and 2007 Step by Step titles, no references were made anymore.
