@ "me" Since I am a guest blogger here at B2L, and do NOT work for MS at all, I have the unique ability to give you my unvarnished opinion of both you and your opinions, which is this... I think you need to start eating a big fat bowl of "Get A Clue" for breakfast every morning. Your childishness on display here at B2L (which includes flagging every post on this blog as a 1, regardless of its content) simply because MS doesn t bow down to you about wallet cards suggests two things: 1.) you have no idea how to act professionally, and 2.) you prolly need professional help. The point of this post was to encourage people to take charge of their careers, businesses and lives, and offering them the chance to get free stuff to help them get started. All of the items being given away are entirely from my own pocket. I have not received ANY financial or swag support from anyone else at all to do this, including MS. But I m doing this because I m the kind of person who tries to live by one simple idea: "If you think something s important enough that everyone should do it, then you should damn sure be the first in line." So if you think that MS (and by extension, other people) should listen to and show you respect, then I d suggest you be the first in line to listen to and show THEM some respect. Please surprise me by not acting like a total tool in your inevitable response(s).

Just want to say...thanks for the vouchers! Definitely just enough of a kick for me to get things going in regards to extra exams/accreditations etc :-) The FunCAve is great!

@Chris Rue 1. Looks that you haven t read all my posts - Wallet Cards are only one issue I was trying to point. There are plenty of things MS should face, oh and I wasn t alone in listing those issues. Wonder why all "anger" from "blog" side is thrown at me. Energy spend on attacking me could be used for better things. 2. It is second time when I am publicly attacked for the star scores I give. I haven t seen any TERM about scoring posts were are warnings that scoring isn t anonymous and for giving low score you might be attacked. Since we know how I vote It would be fair to show same details about other people. 3. I haven t answered on your posts immediately because I have waited to see if there are same rules for everyone here. There s absolutely no way I would even begin to waste my time trying to outline your manifesto worldview. Based, mainly, for all the reasons I mentioned in my first post. And that s too bad, because you might have some good ideas that I would even agree with. But I ll never know that, again for all the aforementioned reasons that were mentioned before. 2.) You are free, just as any of us are, to give any star rating you wish to anything. That s called freedom, baby, which we still luckily enjoy here in America. But as far as anonymity goes, I have no insider access to scoring, nor was any revealed to me. Amazingly enough, it was a matter of simple math. I guessed you were the 3rd score to show, based on approximately when your first post showed up. Until then, rathings had been all 5s. Immediately after your comment, rating count incremented by one, but the average dropped precipitously. Now, you don t even have to be a psychometrician at MS (which I m not) to put that kind of analysis together. 3.) You trying to raise a complaint against me or anyone else about posting etiquette/rules comes off to me as a schoolyard bully whining because someone tweaked his nose, after he d been going around punching people in the face. If this were a site I were admin ing, you ve have earned a perma-ban, and been IP blocked way before now. I think you should be grateful MS is as committed to open discussion, no matter how repugnant (in MY opinion) and disruptive (again, in MY opinion) the source, as they are. Notice small subtle difference I am writing about MSL - their current policy I try to avoid personal attacks. In two posts you haven t argued with any of my statements (how could you without knowing it) instead you have focused on me only. It simply violets rules described by Ken Rosen I have cited. Hi all, We recently restructured our roles a little and as the new managing editor of Born to Learn I would like to comment on the discussion above. Born to Learn should be a place where we announce news and where we all can exchange ideas and opinions freely. It is OK to disagree, I d be extremely worried if everyone agreed all the time. We do expect people to disagree respectfully though. Anyone here should be safe to communicate his/her opinion and there should be no personal attacks. At the same time I also feel people here should feel obliged to fully read posts before they comment and not criticize just out of habit; that is also disrespectful. The Get Your Butt in Gear post is a fantastic story and we are happy to see how readers are taking advantage of what is being offered by one of our most enthusiastic community members. We re all human, we re all passionate, now let s end the debate and focus on the positive energy of this story.
