Heads-up on a good article by MCT Bryan Sullins over at Network World—good reading for those of you working towards your MCITP:EA certification.

(Although for the record, I didn’t find MCITP:EA to be any more or less difficult than MCSE, especially if you’re upgrading. But as they say: mileage may vary. :-))

  • I actually thought that the MCITP:Enterprise Admin certification was easier than the MCSE. The only real curveball that I saw was that it covered more than just the Windows Server product, i.e., it was truly more enterprise-related.
  • I am 3 exams down and 2 to go on the MCITP:EA, having passed 70-620(95%!!), 70-640, and 70-642. Now working on 70-643 and 70-647 and finding it tougher going. Anybody else in the same boat?
  • Being an MCSE, I m currently prepping for 70-649, mostly the content seems very light on, but I m a new MCSE so I assume less revision is required for me.
  • Good post, good article in Network World. Personally, I made both W2k8 MCITP exams: SA and EA. The SA I found very easy. It can be well compared to MCSA, but the EA I found somewhat hard, despite knowing all of the new features like RODC etc. Perhaps it made a difference that I took both exams in their beta stadium.
  • I wish to go for MCITP EA i just have 70-640, can anyone help on tips on how to really prepare for it please
  • I am MCITP Server Administrator, but want to be MCITP Enterprise Admin.Am I to do 2 exams:70-647 and 70-620 only or I have to do 3 exams: 70-647 ,70-620 and 70-643. Please your urgent reply will be appreciated.
