MCTSummit

This truly is an exciting day for me personally and all of us here at Team MCT.  To see this event coming to life and running is great.

In 12 hours, I will be starting the Opening session for the MCT Virtual Summit.

We are well over a thousand people in attendance and climbing every hour, I find that I am obsessively looking at the numbers as they roll in.  I now know what Tjeerd felt like during renewal.

We are going to be presenting in a total of 6 languagues, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, French and German.

We are having sessions with many deep technology subjects on Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2008, Microsoft Exchange 2010 and Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007.  We have a Technology dive into Visual Studio Team Systems 2010.  We have a First Look at Microsoft Office 2010.

This is some pretty amazing content presented by outstanding speakers and there is still time to register.  Go to www.MCTSummit2009.com and you can register for the event today.  Then in 12 hours you can come and watch the opening with me speaking.

  • Problem is the schedule on the mctsummit2009 does not correspond with the one on the mctvirtualsummit website...most notably the Server 2008 technical deep dive session has been moved and clashes with a Win 7 technical deep dive. It may be possible to "time shift" a session, but not happy with the fact that what was advertised is not what you find inside the box. Also, the UK technet virtual conference is on Friday and it s FREE! It covers some of the material that is in the MCT Summit...but the point again is the lack of co-ordination with Microsoft events that means that you are left with a tough choice. To be honest, had I known about the Technet conference, I would not have registered for the MCT Summit -- one of the reasons being that I found myself in an empty chat room for 2 hours waiting for an "expert chat" to begin...
