Phoenix was hot. It feels like the middle of the summer rather than spring. We received a warm welcome at Training To You, with colorful balloons and chocolate :) on the reception table.
Training To You is quite a unique company in Phoenix. In this tough economy they truly put themselves out there to help the community. When seats are available from a training class, people who are unemployed can pay only what they can afford to attend the class. Tim Smith, the CEO from Training To You told us that he hopes what they do can get people the skills they need to transition their lives, and help them get back on their feet.
Not only that, you can apply for a scholarship to assist your skills/education pursuit at Computer Career Institute, a non profit set up by Training To You, and there is a job agency Training To You partner with. Helping the community get trained, get certified, and get (or retain) a job is what Tim believes his company can do to help the community, especially at this tough economy.
