Some of you may have been wondering, what is it like to live on a bus? Well, after 8 days of living on a bus, I find myself surrounded by Subject Matter Experts! Personally, I did not have any clear expectations and this bus life has continuously surprised me. We have a ‘living room’ at the front that we call ‘the business and communications center’ and 75% of the time we have a pretty decent internet connection there that allows us to do mail, presentations, blog, twitter, etc. It’s not all about that though, there are two TVs, we have a mini kitchen, our own beds and at the end of the bus is our ‘family room’ which is the home of the Xbox. Many Rock Band wars have been fought and the band is actually improving, fortunately :-)!

Living on the bus to me is as energizing as it is unreal. Two or three times a day we stop and there will be a room with people waiting for us and we present, talk about certification, show Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, we do our ‘Are you Certifiable?’ game show but the best part is meeting people. I’ve found that ‘learning’ means so many different things to so many different people; we have met students who are looking at a career in IT, career changers, specialists, business partners, trainers, technology fans etc. etc. They all have their own interests in Learning more about (Microsoft) Technology.

So as some of you were wondering, here’s 3 minutes of reality TV showing what life is like on the bus.

As ‘Bones’ would have it: ‘It’s life Jim, but not as we know it’.
