So we left Redmond on Monday and arrived in India on Thursday morning… Tomorrow the MCT Summit will start and regardless of our lack of sleep and TOTAL disorientation, we look forward to that so much!
Over 200 Microsoft Certified Trainers from the Asia Pacific region will join us (the event is sold out!) as we get ready for a new year of training.
We will take 3 days to go through over 60 sessions (break outs but still a good 10 hours of content a day).
Today, the day before the event, is really cool as MCTs are arriving and ‘taking over’ the hotels. Suddenly there are T-Shirts with Microsoft (event) logo’s everywhere and I see a lot of laptops running Windows 7. That happened at our summits in Prague and Redmond too and it’s that special feeling of ‘the gathering has begun’! There is special excitement in the air as so many traniers here are new to the MCT program and are discovering the program’s benefits and opportunities. Training demand is different as there is of cours much more developer interest than usual, we will get some quotes and comments from all MCTs here. There s an incredibly strong focus on certification as Certification = Employability .
We’ll get our camera out and we’ll post some clips here, I hope we can share some of the excitement with you that way.
