When you will plan publish the score of the beta exam Sql Server 2012?
I am very impatient by the result.
Hi, usually the scores were published before the exam went online, so that should hopefully happen today...
www.microsoft.com/.../exam.aspx
11th of june
70-461 failed
70-462 still tested... (another guy has already got his score for this one ->failed)
i´m wondering wether mine was forgotten...
I have my result for 71-462 today. I passed. (I thought I had maybe 60% chance of passing) I was MCDBA certified with SQL Server 2000, 2005, and MCTS SQL Server 2008... I found a lot of the old knowledge was still useful...But I just found that the new MCSE for SQL Server 2012 would require redoing all the SQL queries---which I rarely need to do on my job and I had already paid for similar exams in the past. Unless I get a free voucher for it, I do not think I would work on the MCSE for 2012.
This is more expensive than industry standard---Oracle DBA upgrade only requires one big exam. There should either be an upgrade exam as before or discounts should be offered to people who held old certifications...
I was wrong...There is a 70-459 for MCITP-DBA 2008. So it would still make sense to finish MCITP DBA 2008. The new name is MCSE-DATA Platform...which is the closest to MCDBA of older days...
It's confusing enough...but the correct answer is that 3 exams are required to upgrade. 70-457, 70-458, and 70-459. www.microsoft.com/.../cert-sql-server-data-platform.aspx
That does cost a lot more than industry standard...
Hi Veronica,
As I dont have twit-ter account ( yes an MCDBA who cant /wont tweet - oh the shame....like I care.....)
How the dickens do people get involved in IT mentoring as you mentioned with the nethope academy? There is this "get involved" comment from microsoft and then mention of something in Haiti , but is that it?
the article lead me to believe MS was pushing IT mentoring ( which I'm soft of interested in ) but is netwhjpe th etotal MS involvement in all this?
Cheers
Steve
Oh and for those of us who dont tweet, do you have an email account so we can ask you questions please?
