Microsoft Certified Trainers Explain MCSE

Microsoft Certified Trainers Explain MCSE

Veronica Sopher - Microsoft

We came across two great videos made by Microsoft Certified Trainers, in which they both share their take on the new MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) and explain what the changes mean to MCITP. We (Microsoft Learning) made the announcement, but it takes Microsoft Certified Trainers to really break it down for you. Watch and listen to both as they're two very different styles but equally informative.

Thank you to Doug Bassett and Michael Murphy for the videos and messages, and hat tip to Chris Avis (we found Michael's video via Chris' blog).

Doug Bassett (in the first video) has it wrong when he states that MCSA consists of 70-640+70-642 and 70-643.. I'm surprised that you guys didn't pick up on this before linking to his video?

The Applications Infrastructure (643) hasn't got anything to do with MCSA - nor did it have anything to do with MCITP: Server Administrator before the changes..

Wonder if he did his video before they announced the changes.. This page clearly states that MCSA consists of 70-640+70-642 and 70-646 (The old MCITP: Server Administrator)

    Jonas,

You are correct. My mistake. I am glad they added server to the mix. Nice catch.
